There is only an estimated 430 people living in Helen, but thousands of tourists visit this town every year. Many Atlanta residents pay a visit to the charming Helen on weekend trips. The town sees many visitors during the different seasons of the year, but September and October is usually the time of the year that receives the most visitors. Not only does the beautiful foliage in the fall attract visitors from all over, but Helen also hosts an Oktoberfest which is the biggest celebration the town holds every year.
